The LeicesterShire Historic Churches Trust (LHCT) has been awarded funds by Allchurches Trust Ltd and by the Diocese to offer financial help to churches that wish to install a roof alarm

The £50,000 generously granted to LHCT by Allchurches Trust for roof alarms has now all been allocated, shared between 35 churches throughout Leicestershire.  Allchurches Trust now have a dedicated grant scheme for roof alarms here - https://www.allchurches.co.uk/what-we-fund/roof-alarm-grants/  

The Diocese of Leicester has also committed funds for the roof alarm grant scheme, and £9,600 remains available from the Diocesan allocation.  You can apply for these funds (via LHCT) alongside an application to Allchurches Trust.  Grant applications continue to come in and the Diocesan funds will soon all be allocated - so if your church needs roof alarm please apply as soon as possible!

The PCC must commit to maintaining the alarm for a minimum of 5 years.

These grants cannot be awarded retrospectively and the application must be made to LHCT (not to the Diocese).
